Ever since I was an infant, I have had a passion and a talent for drawing, which is why I wanted to enrich my talents by carrying them through my education. Ever since elementary school, I would always try to use whatever free time I had to exercise my artistic mind, and in high school, I even received an award for excellence in art upon graduating. That is why I knew that going into college I would have to aim towards a career in media where I could expand my creativity to new heights. At Duquesne University, I worked on an undergraduate degree in the field of Digital Media Arts with a concentration in Multimedia, as well as a minor in Computer Science. In my studies, I practiced a variety of skills such as graphic design, video production and editing, web design, motion graphics, and interface design. Additionally, while I took classes at Duquesne, I maintained a position on the Dean’s List for an exceptional grade point average and graduated with the award of summa cum laude.

Goals
Something that has continued to fascinate me throughout my life is the idea of using creative media to give a message to people be it directly or indirectly. Whether it is through writing, visuals, animations, or even film, I love the idea of being able to tell a story or give a message to an audience often times without even having to say it directly. I believe that a great piece of artistic media can speak for itself while still being able to be interpreted by its viewers. It is my passion for this type of creative storytelling that has me interested in career paths regarding media where I would be able to expand my ingenuity further and focus my talent and passion toward something that can help other people.
Character Design
This gallery features works
related to a fictional fantasy series called Animus that was proposed to
me by a friend of mine several years ago who wanted to know if I was interested
in providing visuals to the story he came up with. Since then, we have
collaborated in this effort over the years, with these pieces some of the
character designs I have done that I am most proud of.
Graphics and Visuals
This gallery consists of
various examples of visual editing and graphic design that I have worked on
over the past few years between my later years in high school and the current
day.
Motion Graphics
This gallery contains a
series of projects for a class at Duquesne University called Visual Design and Layout,
which taught me how to create motion graphics and edit videos in a
three-dimensional space using Adobe After Effects.
Video Editing
All of these video files
were created by me as part of an elective I took called Principles of Audio and
Video, in which I learned important techniques in producing and editing videos.
The only exception to that is the Animus Promo Video, which was for my New
Media Production course. Regardless, all of these videos were created using
Adobe Premiere Pro.
UI Design
This series of files came
from multiple electives regarding UI Design and Interaction Design that I took
as part of my major in Digital Media Arts. As such, all of these files are
digital prototypes that were created using Adobe XD. These assignments taught me
about how imperative the field of design is when it comes to users interacting
with different devices.
